Camp is for children ages 4 - 13. Teen ages 14 - 15. |
Lunches and Snacks: |
The camp does not provide lunch. All campers should bring lunch in coolers or zip lock bags.
No glass containers are permitted.

T-Shirts: |
Each child will be supplied with a free camp T-Shirt
which must be worn on trip day. Additional shirts are available
for purchase. If children forget to wear a
camp shirt on trip day, one will be provided at a cost of
$10 for the child.. |
Clothing:
|
Campers should be dressed for the weather. Camp is rain or shine. Shirts, shorts, a bathing suit and towel,
socks and sneakers are a must. Do not
bring large sums of money, jewelry, toys, or valuables. (HRC
is not responsible for lost or stolen items.) |
Equipment and Facility |
All athletic equipment is provided by the camp. In the crafts program, campers may be asked to supply readily available items from homes in order to make certain projects. Our facility is fully air conditioned and outside grounds maintained on a daily basis. Our swimming pool is 3’ deep at each end 4 ½’ deep in the middle with certified lifeguards and lessons are offered during the camp day. |
Teen Program: |
The teen program includes daily sports and swim activities along with an opportunity to assist some of our junior groups. Any teen interested in becoming an aide should enroll in this program. The cost of this program is $200 per week and includes the cost of the weekly trip. |
Swim Program |
Group swim lessons will be available to our campers. Groups of four children of the same level or ability
will have one period of swim classes scheduled on non-trip days. Our staff will escort children from their daily activities to the pool
and back to their group. Cost is $40 per week.
We also have private lessons available. All private lessons are 30 minutes each on non-trip days Cost is $120 per week. |

What is Japanese Karate?Traditional Japanese Karate is one of the oldest and most effective
methods of self defense
but more importantly it is an excellent form of exercise and a way to personal development. A person trained in Karate is well prepared to meet life’s
challenges. He or she feels strong and confident in any situation. Most of all the true Karate trainee is a person of peace.
Junior Program - For children ages 5 through 11 years old. Our Junior classes teach children the fundamentals of Karate in a safe, and fun filled environment. Children are taught to respect others, to practice self discipline, how to focus and concentrate, and valuable social skills. Our goal is to help your child stay healthy, happy, focused and confident. Adult and Teen Program - For men and women ages 12 and older. Classes begin with “warm-up” and stretching exercises, and progress through basic and advanced techniques. Emphasis is placed on correct form, and development of speed and power through the use of breath control and relaxed natural movement.
